Job position summary: PAMI is looking for a service-oriented Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our high-performing maintenance team in Austin! The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of routine repairs and maintenance on buildings and mechanical equipment. Includes repair and maintenance of electrical fixtures, plumbing facilities, appliances, building equipment, doors, screens, windows, and roofs. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

High school education or G.E.D. and one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. HS Diploma/GED plus 1 year experience in building maintenance or vocational training that involved training and/or experience in areas of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Use of personally owned hand tools required. Ability to read and write English. Ability to read and understand moderately complex repair manuals, and instructions/warning on cleaning agents. Write service requests, maintenance reports, and inspection reports. Valid Texas Driver's License required. Copies of transcripts and/or diplomas and driving record required. Must show proof of Covid19 vaccination if offered position.
