The Advanced Mechatronics (AM) Business Solutions Services (BSS) team is seeking a Senior Application Development Engineer. The role requires the ability to work with minimal direction, the capacity to move quickly and be flexible while delivering high quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
The candidate should have strong technical background with experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD), Product Lifecycle Managment (PLM), and Application Lifecycle Managment (ALM) software. The role requires individual that is customer centric and able to work in fast paced environment with an entrepreneurial attitude. Expected to collaboration with end-users and cross-functional development teams to define requirements, manage the system configuration, and continuously drive functional and operational excellence through workflow management. The candidate will be required to dive deep into the system architecture and product development processes to contribute to strategic planning for business scalability.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot configuration and operational parameters for business applications.
- Develop and facilitate user training.
- Application administrator responsibilities.
- This role is responsible for SOLIDWORKS drawing/part templates and sheet formats for engineering teams.
- MS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent SOLIDWORKS PDM/CAD experience.
- Working knowledge of ASME Y14.100 drafting standards and ASME Y14 series, particularly ASME Y14.5-2009 and later.
- Experience embedded with product development user groups, identifying requirements, providing guidance on customization implementation timing and feasibility, and enabling deployments.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
