Bay Breeze Animal Clinic is searching for a full-time veterinary assistant! This is a great opportunity for skilled assistants who are seeking an excellent work-life balance in the Texas Gulf Coast!

We're looking for compassionate team players with exceptional communication and multi-tasking abilities. Candidates must be dependable, friendly, positive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Individuals with prior experience are encouraged to apply, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate!

Primary responsibilities and experience:

• Patient handling and restraint
• Client communication and education
• Administering medication, vaccines, and injections
• Pharmacy duties
• Assisting with front-desk duties, as needed
• General hospital cleaning

Bay Breeze Animal Clinic is a well-established, full-service, small animal hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to pets in Rockport, Texas. We assist the local human society with spays/neuters, have a bright, colorful facility, and have created a warm and inviting atmosphere for our staff and clients. Although our practice is fast-paced, we don’t lose sight of our team members and offer a great work-life balance—our team is regularly out by 5:30 p.m.! Not to mention, we have great team longevity and a gossip free working environment. Our hospital is well-equipped for surgery and we’re lucky to have clients who generally do whatever it takes to keep their pets healthy. Although we are not certified, we follow AAHA standards and have tools to perform laser therapy, cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, dental x-ray, full mouth x-ray, digital radiology, and more!

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
