Pereira Plumbing Inc is a local reputable plumbing company and small business located in North Dartmouth, MA and services all of the Southcoast. Our work spans from new construction to service work, boiler and water heater service both residential and commercial.
About the Opportunity
This position will perform installation, alterations, and/or repairs of plumbing systems within the residential and light commercial plumbing industry in a team, and customer-focused environment.
Daily responsibilities will include;
- Prepare work area for installation of equipment.
- Install or help install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair pipe and pipeline systems.
- Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment.
- Keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly and properly working fashion and the work area clean and organized at all times.
To be successful in this position you will need;
- 2+ years of experience installing and servicing plumbing systems
- Experience with residential new construction and service repairs
- Properly uses measuring devices, hand/power tools and equipment to perform plumbing work
- Possess solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Follows instruction and uses good judgment to solve problems and resolve issues
- Experience troubleshooting, and servicing heating systems preferred
- Vocational training in plumbing or related preferred
- Valid Drivers License
Other position details
Hours for this position will be 7:30am to 4:00pm M-F with overtime opportunities including Saturdays
Compensation is commensurate with skills, experience and overall qualifications
