Pool Manager
$21.74 Hour; 35 - 40 hours per week
- Oversee daily facility operations and aquatics programs
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance
- Ensure facility and patron safety while providing quality customer service
Assistant Pool Manager
$19.79 Hour; 35-40 hours per week
- Assist pool manager with daily facility operations and aquatics programs
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the pool manager
- Direct staff in-services and trainings
Head Swim / Dive Coach
$19.79 Hour; 35-40 hours per week
- Oversee swim and dive team practices, meets, and team operations
- Assist pool manager and assistant manager with facility operations, programs, and trainings
- Maintains a safe and fun learning environment for participants
Assistant Swim / Dive Coach
$18.28 Hour; 30-35 hours per week
- Assist head coach with practices, meets, and team operations
- Maintains a safe and fun learning environment for participants
- May perform responsibilities of swim lesson instructor or lifeguard when needed
Lifeguard / Instructor (WSI)
$17.77 Hour; 30-35 hours per week
- Provide swim lessons and water safety techniques to program participants
- Monitor activities in the pool area to identify and prevent safety concerns
- Provide quality customer service to patrons by greeting and answering questions
Lifeguard
$17.22 Hour; 25-30 hours per week
- Monitor activities in the pool area to identify and prevent safety concerns
- Provide quality customer service to patrons by greeting and answering questions
- Enforce facility and pool rules to maintain patron safety
These positions report to the Recreation Coordinator. The primary functions of these positions are to provide safety and coach or teach aquatic skills and activities. They must be able to resolve conflicts, adapt to participants needs/behaviors, respond to emergency situations and enforce policies and procedures. - Head Coach/Assistant Coach on Monday, January 30
- Instructor (WSI) and Lifeguard on Monday, February 6.

Applicants not available for skills tests and interviews will be considered only if necessary after the initial recruitment. Applicants who are out of town (i.e., away at college) may be interviewed via telephone or virtually. Interview information will be emailed to all applicants approximately one week prior to interview date.
Applicants must bring a copy of your certifications with you to the interview or prove current class enrollment (Lifeguard and Swim Instructor candidates).
If you are selected for employment, you will be notified of all mandatory training dates, and onboarding processes at the time of hire.

In addition to possessing the ability to live out our core and functional values daily, candidates
must possess the following requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of swimming pool health regulations, laws, and ordinances governing public swimming pool operation- Good physical condition and stamina required
- All positions (except management) require any combination of the following certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate (Lifeguard). Water Safety Instructor Certificate or Starfish/Ellis (Instructors/Coaches)
- Age requirements:
- Swim/Dive Team Coaches - 16+ years;
- Lifeguard/Instructors - 16+ years;
- Lifeguards - 15+ years.
- Must be able to work consistently from mid-May through early August 2023 with minimal time off.
- Personal cell phone is preferred to clock in and out of shifts
