Role: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Rate: $21 / hour

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist! Our client in Houston, Texas is seeking an AP Specialist on a contract-to-hire basis.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist with customer billing, posting of cash receipts, or other transactions to journals or ledgers and verify accuracy
  • Assist with month-end entering of AP invoices, filing, and cleanup of the Unbilled Receipts report
  • Prepare a variety of straightforward special and recurring accounting-related reports, summaries, and statistical reports
  • Assist with collections
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience, in both AP and AR
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Good Excel skills
