Job Summary:
We are looking for an Industrial Pipe Certified Welder! This may be the job for you! You would be responsible for the installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of equipment associated with the Reedy Creek Improvement District utilities across the Walt Disney World Resort. This role may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces.
The starting rate of is $26.29
Responsibilities:
- Installation and repair of copper and cast iron pipe
- Modify and repair utility equipment
- Maintain standards in ASME B31.1
- May be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
Basic Qualifications:
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Strong background in pipefitting and fabrication
- Four (4) years of welding experience
- Pass 6’’ open root 6g 6010/7018
- Efficient in interpreting blueprints
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in welding
