AD1 Global is looking for a Hotel Area Sales Manager to support their hotels located in Atlanta, GA: The DoubleTree by Hilton & The Hampton Inn by Hilton.

The successful Sales Manager will serve as the hotel representative to prospective clients and customers who will need guest rooms, meeting rooms, function space, and hotel services. Will primarily identify, qualify and solicit new business to achieve hotel revenue goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new strategies and uncover new business to generate sales.
  • Close the best opportunities for the hotel on market conditions and hotel needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to produce group and/ or convention businesses.
  • Monitor the hotel’s position within the assigned market(s) and recommend changes as necessary.
  • Maintain an understanding of the overall market(s), including competitors’ strengths/weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand, etc.
  • Represent hotels at the trade shows and city-wide conventions as dictated by the hotel needs.
  • Prepare internal and external correspondences, i.e. contracts, proposals, group resumes, event orders, and rooms as needed.
  • Establish a client base of organizations, associations, social, and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts to secure business for the hotel to ensure that predetermined sales expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Assists the Director of Sales with implementing and achieving the Sales Marketing plan.
  • Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as Sales Manager for Branded hotels, full service, and limited service.
  • Deep knowledge of the Florida market.
  • Must be able to travel in town, in the state, and out of state. If using your vehicle or renting vehicles, must have a valid driver’s license with clear background.
  • Experience in SalesPro preferred.
