Title: Shuttle Driver/Hotel Runner

Reports to: General Manager/Shift Manager

Department: Shuttle

FLSA Status: Non- Exempt

1. Summary Statement

Safely operate the hotel vehicles and transport hotel guests from the hotel to several appointed locations on a regularly scheduled basis. Also responsible for running miscellaneous errands, such as picking up supplies for various hotel events, as well as assisting with set up for hotel events.

2. Primary Duties and Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

• Arrives to work on time and conducts vehicle inspection
• Operates the passenger shuttle on a scheduled route
• Performs daily vehicle inspections as required
• Promptly reports maintenance issues
• Communicates efficiently with front desk staff regarding pick-ups and drop-offs
• Assists passengers on and off the vehicle and with loading/unloading of passengers’ luggage
• Provides excellent customer service to all hotel guests and passengers
• Picking up and dropping off various items, as needed, for hotel events
• Assisting Banquet team with setting up/tear down for events, as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned by General Manager or Shift Manager
• Enforces federal and state guidelines for safe vehicle operation
• Assists other staff members and departments when needed

3. Skills, Education, Background, and Experience:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean driving record and ability to meet federal and state driving standards
• Experience with professional driving and vehicle maintenance preferred
• Must be in physical condition to sit for an extended period
• Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs.
• Able and willing to follow traffic regulations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
