ARMED GUARDS-BORDER/CONSTRUCTION SITES
OVERVIEW:
· Employees will work a minimum 60 hours a week, with the opportunity to work 84 hours per week (Seven days a week, 12-hour Shifts)
· Overtime is paid in accordance with state law
· Per Diem is $95 per day worked and is paid weekly
· Work occurs on the border in El Paso, Texas
· Additional opportunities to work in AZ and CA for those with proper licenses
· This assignment is temporary and will last approximately 90 days and possibly longer
· When/if one project ends, if other projects are starting, you will most likely be given the opportunity to transfer to the new project.
· Must be able to stand or walk for the entire shift
· Work starts in early to mid-May
EXPERIENCE:
· Former Military Experience is preferred, or
· Former Law Enforcement Officers, or
· Experienced Armed Border Security Officers
REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have Texas armed security guard license.
· Must have valid Driver's License and good driving record; and
· Pass a comprehensive background check & initial and random drug tests
· Must have your own side arm, duty belt, bump helmet, smart phone, and reliable transportation to get you to the job site.
DRESS & APPEARANCE:
· Uniform Shirt and Jackets (provided for by the company)
· Tan/Desert Sand BDU's (you provide)
· Tan/Desert Sand Boots (you provide)
COMPENSATION:
· Starting straight time pay rate is $20 per hour, with OT being paid at $30.00 for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a single weekly pay period. All overtime will be calculated and paid in accordance with Texas law.
· Per Diem is $95 per day worked. This is for meals and housing, when required. Employees are paid per diem for every full shift the work.
· When applicable, vehicle pay is $85 per day. Your POV may be used if the company does not have any company owned vehicles for you to use and your 4WD POV meets our minimum standards.
· Payroll is processed weekly.
