Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal art team, leads, and producers to understand and communicate visual goals of the project to external vendors.
  • Create documentation, asset specs, and supporting reference materials with clear instructions for creation of character, weapon, and environment assets.
  • Partner with internal artists to validate art asset delivery and unblock the external team when issues arise.
  • Provide detailed feedback and approvals to external partners to ensure assets are delivered on time and on target in terms of quality and specifications.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to the outsource pipeline, process, and tools.
  • Create and maintain asset delivery schedules and collaborate with Producers and Art Managers to keep deliverables on track.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years experience as an art outsource manager, art lead, or content producer role.
  • Professional experience creating 3d art assets such as characters or environments.
  • Experience working at a Game Studio or Game Publisher.
  • Experience working with outsourcing partners across different locations and time zones.
  • Ability to communicate art direction and feedback in an effective, constructive, and efficient manner.
  • Deep understanding of art production, process, pipelines and tools across all disciplines.
  • Professional experience working on asset management and maintaining asset pipelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross disciplines teams.
  • Strong team player with a positive and motivating attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with current 3d art tools, e.g. Zbrush, Maya, Blender, Photoshop, Substance Painter.
  • Experience with Unity Engine.
  • Experience with Jira and Google Suite.

Top 3 must-have HARD skills:
