Job description
Marposs Corporation, a leading global producer of high precision measuring equipment, has an opening for a Sales Specialist, MMS (Marposs Monitoring Solutions). This individual will support the sales department and distribution network to increase visibility and increase sales of the general Marposs Monitoring Solution line.
Marposs designs and manufactures a wide range of products and solutions from; precision measurement of mechanical components of before, during and after the manufacturing process, process controls and machine tool conditions, leak tests for all industrial sectors, and automatic assembly and control lines. Marposs is a primary supplier of the major automotive manufacturers, for both ICE and EV applications, as well as the aerospace, biomedical, energy, consumer electronics and glass containers sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Provides sales support
- Assists in development of marketing tools
- Provide product training to Sales and Distributors
- Prepares proposals and presents for approval
- Prepares presentations and demo equipment to customers
- Configures and recommends equipment
- Performs competitive and market analysis
Requirements:
- College graduate preferred in Entrepreneurship, engineering or business
- Previous internship in industry or marketing
- General understanding of new technologies hardware and software, mechanical and electrical systems
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Team oriented with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Able to learn, comprehend and explain product functionality and value proposition
- Able to travel in North America and occasionally internationally
