Division Description
ITW Dynatec, a division of Illinois Tool Works (NYSE: ITW), designs and manufactures a full range of industrial adhesive applications for the Packaging, Automotive, Disposable Hygiene and Specialty industries worldwide. Primary Responsibilities
- Drive a culture of Safety, Wellness and ITW’s Core Values, ensuring proactive practices.
- Gathers supplies including parts, tools and materials for production.
- Utilizes work instructions to assemble components, while checking for quality during process and upon completion.
- Completes preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshoots malfunctions.
- Maintains supply inventory levels, places orders as need, and verifies receipt.
- Completes all required quality and production documentation.
- Partners with appropriate resources to implement improvements in work processes.
- Accomplishes simple tasks in a self-directed manner.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency required; 2-year technical degree/certificate a plus
- 1-year previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Ability to read and use simple schematics and blueprints
- Basic point to point electrical wiring
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Knowledge and use of hand and pneumatic tools
- Beginner level user of MS Office; experience with an ERP system a plus
- Ability to follow work instruction and work order documents
- Works well within a team
- Ability to perform simple testing procedures
- Basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Language: English
- Availability to work overtime as needed

- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive motion type tasks regularly such as walking, typing, using
fingers and hands.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to
twenty-five (25) pounds, and rarely lift to fifty (50) pounds.
- Ability to endure heat.
- The ability to quickly move safely over uneven terrain
- The ability to wear personal protective gear (safety shoes, glasses, ear plugs, and gloves as
needed)
- Ability to communicate with others to exchange information
- While performing the job functions of this position, the employee frequently works in an
environment near powered motor vehicles, power tools, and automated assembly fixtures.
