Compensation Range: $17.00/hour starting wage
Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.
Job Purpose
Follow work instructions to complete basic, routine assemblies and test operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools to assemble product
- Record accurate production and traceability information as required
- Complete equipment set-up/changeover configurations
- Complete cycle counts (as required)
- Follow work procedures/operating instructions
- Participate in cross-training of processes as assigned
- Inspect your work and inspect work of others to ensure the reduction of defects and enhanced product quality
- No supervisory responsibilities
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to do basic math
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly
- Ability to use measurement tools
General Job Requirements
- Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
- This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
- Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions.
