Assembler - Packaging

Department: Assembly

Reports To: Area Lead

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Amount of Travel Required: N/A

Job Status: Full-Time

Positions Supervised: N/A

Schedule: M-Th – 6am – 4:30pm, overtime as requested on Fridays

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for packaging quality parts and orders for our customers. The goal of the Assembly team is to strive for efficiency and accuracy in order to provide superior end products for our customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Conduct visual and measuring tests for quality control checks on each part

Follow Bill of Materials list to ensure accurate packaging

Neatly package and box products and accessories

Count finished parts

Ensure

Perform all inspections and document as required

Maintain a neat, clean, and well-organized work area

Willing to assist in other areas of production as needed

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Metal fabrication environment with shop floor experience is a plus

Computer Skills: N/A

Certificates & Licenses: N/A

Other Requirements: Ability to read basic blueprints and measuring equipment; or willingness to be trained.
