Assembly I

REPORTS TO: Lead Supervisor
SHIFT: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

JOB SUMMARY:

To assemble finished product using sub-assemblies, parts and fasteners according to customer specification and company policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

1. Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, and electronic and pneumatic tooling.

2. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

3. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

4. Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with direct supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be able to follow established processes and procedures.

2. Must be able to read blueprints and perform the operations necessary to build a product.

3. Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

1. Work performed in a shop environment.

2. Must be able to concentrate for long periods of time.

3. Long periods of sitting.

4. May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the assembly process.

*Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
