Production Packaging and Assembly Personnel
The KFI Products division at Kappers Fabricating, Inc., a family owned and operated company, seeks professional, dependable anddetail-oriented individuals for our General Assembly positions. If you are looking foran opportunity to contribute to the success of our fast growing product line, then this position is for you!
Responsibilities
- Packaging products neatly and to prevent productdamage during shipping
- Assembling products per print
- Prepare and completeorders for stock or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label,ship)
- Keep a clean and safe workingenvironment and optimize space utilization
- Perform inventory cyclecounts and provide other area support as needed
- Report any discrepancies
- Complete product andwarehouse logs accurately
- Communicate andcooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Follow quality servicestandards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to work cooperatively in a teamenvironment
- Good with numbers
- Ability to maintain high level of accuratedocumentation
- Some positions require the ability to frequently lift 40 pounds
- Knowledge of packing materials and shippingrequirements
- Ability to follow established work schedule andprocedures
- Strong writing, documentation, and speakingskills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume newresponsibilities
