Davis-Standard is a global leader in the design, development and distribution of extrusion and converting technology. Our manufacturing location in Pawcatuck, CT has immediate openings for Assembly Technicians to join its team. These are second shift positions.
Key responsibilities include:
- accurate fitting, alignment and adjustment to very close tolerances and inspections.
- test complete products or subassemblies to meet exacting operating requirements.
- perform bench or floor assembly or a wide range of complicated mechanical and electrical-electric control equipment.
- use all types of precision measuring instruments, hand and power tools.
- duties require installation or troubleshooting product in the field.
- detect faulty operation, defective material, and refer these and other situations to team leaders.
- follow safety regulations
Qualifications include:
- High School or Technical School diploma
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- familiarity with hand and power tools
- ability to follow blue prints and specifications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
