We are looking to hire an Assembly Technician to assist our NPI team with processing of new products, quick turn products, prototypes, and any unusual builds not normally associated with regular production builds.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, BOM, and wire diagrams
• Excellent hands on abilities and/or knowledge in the following areas; IPC/WHMA-a-620 and J-Std-001
• Ability to define and create documentation for manufacturability
• Ability to define and create test fixture and harness boards for manufacturability
• Soldering and assembly experience
• Computer skills – Microsoft Word and Excel basics

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience
• Working knowledge of Cable Eye, Cirrus and Hi-Pot – Programming, customizing and setup are essential
• Able to use rulers, hand tools, etc. properly and safely
• Work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
• Pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
• Work at a sustained pace and produce quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
