Blazerworks has a new opening for an Assistant Behavioral Assistant / Tutor, with experience with school age children, in Milton, NH.

Job Details:

• Classroom is an ABA based classroom through the New England Center for Children.
• Current grades of students in program: 1st, 2nd, and 5thThey have the ability to serve students in grades kindergarten through five though.
• Usually have tutors work with 2 to 3 students throughout the day.
• Each tutor is expected to manage the data for one student. This involves putting the data into online database system at the end of the day.
• They are also expected to prep materials and make sure their student’s binder is taken care of (e.g., making sure copies are made, etc.).
• Tutors are expected to take data (social skills, challenging behaviors, academic programs, etc.) throughout the day.4 students do the majority of their programming (e.g., discrete trial instruction) in special ed. classroom.
• Most students have intense toileting programs and needs (i.e., changing diapers and toilet training protocols).
• Flexibility and good attendance are important qualities for tutors in program to have as things change often in room and it impacts classroom significantly when staff is out.All students are currently diagnosed with autism (but this isn’t always the case).
• If hired, the tutor would go through training prior to working with students.
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30-3:30
