Job description
International Quality Homecare is seeking a full-time Assistant Branch Operations Coordinator to work at our La Crosse, WI office.
Basic Qualifications:
The Assistant Branch Operations Coordinator position requires a minimum of a high school diploma with two years of experience in healthcare settings.
Other Qualifications:
The position requires a clear understanding of how to meet the home care needs of clients. Computer proficiency and the ability to learn different computer programs are highly required.
Job Description:
The Assistant Branch Operations Coordinator works within the Operations Unit to assist the Branch Operations Coordinator and works in place of the coordinator in case of emergency or leave of absence.
Responsibilities:
- Branch Administration
- Petty cash management
- Office & fleet maintenance
- Customer service (Office Phone & Cell Phone)
- Office and Medical supplies management
· Marketing
- Conducting marketing
- Relating with referral sources
- Developing marketing ideas
· Admission & Referrals
- Taking new client referrals
- Pre-admitting clients in the database
- Preparing intake documents
· Hiring Caregivers (Administrative and Non-Clinical functions)
- Posting of job offers
- Assisting the BOC in:
- Working with the RN Branch Professional Services Coordinator to screen applicants, conduct interviews, and select qualified candidates.
- Completing the administrative and non-skilled aspects of caregiver training & orientation
- Completing and maintaining employee files
· Scheduling, Backup Care, and Supervision (Administrative and Non-Clinical functions)
- Assisting the BOC in:
- Working with the RN Branch Professional Services Coordinator to prepare client schedules based on the care plan.
- Working with the RN Branch Professional Services Coordinator to staff clients
- Scheduling visits in the database
- Being on-call to cover shifts when a scheduled caregiver is absent
· Visit Verification
- Reviewing timesheets for completion based on the care plan and referring timesheets to the RN Case Manager when necessary.
- Verifying caregivers’ timesheets for payroll processing
· Record Keeping
- Tracking client's use of authorized hours
- Client Information
- Filing (Clients & Caregivers)
· Reports
- Monthly Branch Reports
- Administrative tasks
- General printing, scanning, faxing, and other related tasks
- Assisting Nurses with administrative tasks
The Assistant Branch Operations Coordinator is responsible for all other tasks delegated by the Supervisor.
