Works closely with the head football coach in all aspects of the football program. Coordinates Offense and has significant positional coaching responsibility, edits and analyzes video, mentors student-athletes, and recruits qualified student-athletes within Middlebury College, NESCAC and NCAA rules.

This is considered a full-time, salaried, benefits eligible position.

Requirements

Core Responsibilities:·

• Coordinates offense
• Oversees offensive staff
• Coach a position on offense-preferably Quarterbacks
• Recruit student-athletes from an assigned area
• Conduct off-season research on offense and adjust playbook accordingly
• Teach in the Physical Education program.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics in the off-season, including but not limited to Game Management.
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required

Experience

• 5-6 coaching, preferably at the collegiate level

• Applicants must possess demonstrated, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse community of faculty, staff, students and prospective students and their families.

Skills and Knowledge

• The ability to work in a collaborative team environment with student-athletes, coaches, administrators.
• Working knowledge of NESCAC and NCAA rules and an understanding of the philosophy behind them.
• A demonstrated commitment to the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Administrative skills such as organization and prioritization.
• Current CPR, AED and First Aid certification must be maintained

Physical Demands:

• Significant time on the field coaching.
• Significant amount of travel for recruiting and games.
• Significant amount of work on nights and weekends.
