Brief Description:
Provides leadership and support to the accounting staff and supports the CFO to allow her to focus on the growth and profitability of the company.
Essential Activities:
- Accounting
- Assists with objectives of accounting department
- Provides leadership, direction and support to the department
- Responsible for timely, accurate pay applications to clients
- Responsible for timely, accurate processing of subcontractor billings included in electronic pay app process
- Ensures A/P, A/R and job cost are always in balance
- Provides month end reports to CFO for financial statement preparation
- Works closely with PM's to meet client financial reporting expectations
- Assists CFO with year-end processes
Experience:
- BS in accounting
- Minimum of 10 years previous accounting experience, with minimum 5 years in construction
- Experience with Sage 300, Procore, Textura or GCPay, MS Office Suite
- CCIFP preferred
