Lutheran Life Communities is seeking an Assistant Controller.
The Assistant Controller plays a key role in supporting the Vice President of Accounting in the delivery of quality and best-practice financial management services for Lutheran Life Communities. The position is responsible for managing the preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements for internal and external use. This individual ensures that the reports, filings and documentations comply with the organization’s regulations, professional standards, and Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) and GAAP reporting guidelines.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, math, economics, or statistics.
- 5+ years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
- Senior living or general healthcare experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, financial and systems skills are required.
- Designation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) would be a plus.
