Northland Capital is expanding our accounting team adding the position of Assistant Controller. Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close activities including, but not limited to, preparing or posting journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial information including, but not limited to, monthly financial statements and reporting as requested by the Controller
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist as point person for the annual audit and provide requested documentation
• Assist in daily funding: preparing checks, ACH, & wire payments
• Process online ACH, credit card, email invoice submittals
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency and aptitude for applicable software (Microsoft Excel, Accounting Software, etc.)
• Accounting back-office experience

Qualifications & Academics:

• Minimum of three years of relative work experience as a Staff Accountant, or equivalent for Assistant Controller work
• Degree in accounting or related field required

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
