Assistant Director of Student Activities (Part-time)
Job description
Reporting to the Director of Special Events, the Assistant Director of Student Activities organizes and manages the details of assigned school events, including: Homecoming Week (October), Christmas Gala (December), Sock Hop (February), Senior Trip (March), and Student Council (year round)
Essential duties:
- Plan events with attention to detail, budget, and alignment with Wheaton Academy's mission.
- Proactively handle any issues that arise prior to an event, and troubleshoot challenges on the day of the event.
- Work collaboratively across departments in executing events.
- Manage staff and faculty members who are assisting with events.
- Assist with the administration of Advisory Groups.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and proven success with event planning, management, and student leadership. Professionalism, collegiality, and the ability to manage details are a must.
