Position Summary:
Stationed at our largest health center in the Bronx, the Assistant Director of Pediatrics serves as a support to the Director of Pediatrics. The AD supports our Director with the operations of the department. This includes: Patient flow, registration, discharge, appointments, and referrals. The AD provide support with the supervision of front desk and office associates.

  • Oversee the front desk associates and support staff.
  • Pediatric daily operations and provider template management.
  • Daily flow of registration, patient flow, appointments, referrals, and discharge.
  • Scheduling management of providers and associates.
  • Paylocity review and approval.
This position is based in the Bronx and requires a flexible schedule. Monday through Friday 8am-5pm and rotating Saturday/flex shifts.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or related field of study.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in an outpatient health center or related setting, preference for previous supervisory experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel
  • Bilingual Spanish/English, strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Records, eClinicalworks knowledge a huge plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to healthcare.

Starting Compensation: Minimum $50,000 per year; Maximum $55,000 per year
