Assistant Facilities Manager

Position Responsibilities
Supervise the daily activities of multi-disciplinary teams of staff including maintenance, security, grounds and custodial workers.
Schedule and assign team duties in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, heating / ventilating, roofing and security. Ensure the accurate tracking of all maintenance work completed.
Routinely inspect buildings, sites and equipment for needed repair and respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
Oversee the delivery and completion of contracted services.
Maintain a variety of records and prepare reports for management review, including work orders, staffing reports and audits as needed.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
2 - 3 years of prior supervisory or leadership experience.
Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), landscaping, HVAC and electrical systems.
Must assist in completing maintenance work.
Background in working with outside vendors and contractors.
Some weekend and evening work required.
Ability to lift and or move up to 70 lbs.
