Hiring Assistant General Manager for
Yee-Haw Brewing Company’s Knoxville Location
We are looking for a career driven individual to champion our new restaurant/brewery location in North Knoxville. The venue will be high volume with a unique menu driven by creativity. Yee-Haw Brewing Company was founded in Johnson City, TN in 2015. We are an award-winning, family-owned company with plenty of growth opportunities.
The following job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The assistant general manager (AGM) helps the general manager to ensure that day-to-day business operations run smoothly. The AGM will draw up weekly schedules, order merchandise, and assist the general manager with training, recruiting, and planning.
Create weekly schedules for the FOH employees.
Oversee all retail operations. Working within a budget to oversee orders, inventory, and innovation.
Liaise between managers, customers and employees.
Fill in for General Manager (GM) in times of absence. Make executive decisions, hold meetings and provide accountability.
Promote a team-oriented culture to improve camaraderie and productivity.
Ensure compliance with sanitization and safety regulations per the TNDOH related to our private events.
Candidates must develop a true belief in the company and its products, and share their passion with our guests and colleagues.
Strive to succeed while demonstrating self-motivation.
Set clear expectations while keeping lines of communications open.

Requirements of the AGM:
Minimum 5 years Restaurant/Taproom management experience.
Minimum 10 years Service Industry experience.
Degree in Business Administration or similar
Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift objects and materials up to 50 lbs.
Must be available to work some nights/weekends.
