Assistant Infant Teacher
Job description
The Goddard School in Longview is looking for teacher assistants in our infant rooms. Afternoon availability until 5 PM is a must. Must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents
- Interact with the babies to support play, exploration, learning, self-esteem, and social skills
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child
- Classroom management to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
- Comply with Goddard's Quality Assurance standards
- Participate in school-wide events and continuing education
