Summary
Assistant Operations Manager: Responsible for the providing support to the operation of the hotel outlets, including 1823 Kitchen and Bar , as well as the hotel pool bar.
The Assistant Operations Manager responsibilities include:
- Support and manage the hotel outlets, while working closely with the 1823 Manager and other hotel departments to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
- Support the 1823 Manager in their efforts to effectivly hire, train, and develop team members
- Lead and coach the team in achieving a world class standard of service
- Develop comprehensive programs to ensure colleague engagement within the workplace
- Creatively implement strategies that focus on cost containment and outlet revenue growth year over year
- Develop high potential colleagues so that they are prepared to assume future leadership roles within the company
- Work closely with other departments in the hotel to ensure a cohesive and elevated experience for hotel guests
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years as F&B Management preferred
- Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale full service environment preferred
- Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader
