Wusong Road, named one of the top 20 Tiki Bars, is Cambridge’s local tropical escape on Mt. Auburn street in Harvard Square.

We are hidden away within the beautifully restored historic 100 year old Conductor’s Building--the first elevated train station in the USA. With just over 8,000 ft2, 165 seats, two full bars spread across two floors and a top-of-the-line kitchen suite, Wusong Road is an escape from the bustling city street outside.

Our menu is small Asian inspired tapas by Chef Jason Doo (Fairmont Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels, Menton, Woods Hill Table) where everything from dumplings to hand pulled noodles are made from scratch. Our front of house hospitality team led by John Shin (Aureole NYC, MIDA South End, Tasting Counter) guides guests through our classical Tiki menu and modern rifts while providing a high level of hospitality in a casual setting.

We are seeking a hospitality driven floor manager who is hands on during service, engaging with guests, and has a strong attention to detail. The manager should be able to pick up on guest social cues and provide a seamless level of service in a fun and fast paced environment. The manager should have a strong knowledge of, or be willing to learn about, liquor, Tiki & Tiki culture and the preparation of mixed drinks.

Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• Enforcing rigorous health and sanitation standards
• Checking the quality of all bar products
• Overseeing cleanliness of the bars and dining room
• Providing rigorous training for all staff
• Closing and Opening procedures
• Creating and ensuring staff follow all Standard Operating Procedures
• Event and Catering management

Ideal candidate should be comfortable in fulfilling a leadership role, delegating tasks, creating, enforcing, and training staff on standard operating procedures with a focus on guest service and satisfaction. While previous restaurant experience is required, managerial experience is not. We are willing to train the right candidate as long as they are willing to learn and grow their career in hospitality. Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
