Assisted Living: Delegated Medication Aide
Job description
This position will make a difference in the lives of our most precious community members. Our caregivers are devoted to providing comprehensive and genuine care to our residents with sincerity and charisma. This team goes above and beyond to ensure those in their care are comfortable and happy.
We are looking for existing Caregivers and for those looking to get into the field. CCHS will pay the enrollment fees for you to start your Home Care Aide training!
What You Will Own and Improve in this Role
- Assisting in orientating and mentoring new caregivers
- Participating in family care conferences as requested
- Assists with supervision and scheduling of Caregivers
- Monitoring of the medication cart and MARS at the direction of the Charge Nurse
- Providing personal care assistance to residents as needed
What You Bring to this Position
- Attention to detail and a love for doing things by the book
- A desire to advocate for the residents
- Strong communication skills
- Developed leadership skills

To Be Successful
At least one year of experience in a long-term care facility is required, as well as a current Washington state CNA or HCA certification.
You will have basic knowledge of geriatrics, dementia, and related care needs.
Satisfactory completion of Washington State Delegation Training
