Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to join the BMG team. This position is located in our NYC office.
Job Overview:
The Operations team is a crucial part of Marcomms success. You will be working with the teams across the group to support our clients’ campaigns while keeping strict standards and consistency throughout the campaign lifecycle. The successful candidate is a team player who is confident, adaptable, and responsive. Roles and Responsibilities will focus on the Marcomms brands. The position reports to the Operations Manager, BMG.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all custom and traditional sponsorship and advertising campaigns from receipt of insertion order through delivery
- Support the Sales team with contracts, RFPs, insertion orders, media kits, presentations, conducting monthly competitive reporting, social media reporting, and database management
- Process client IOs in Salesforce, update relevant trackers, and draft kickoff emails to relevant teams with order details
- Liaise with other BMG teams, including Sales, Editorial, Marketing, Email, Ad and Web Operations teams to launch campaigns
- Work closely with the Accounting and Finance Department to ensure timely billing, resolve any billing issues, and update pacing and revenue reports
- Monitor campaigns, attend weekly pacing meetings, and make optimizations to ensure delivery in full
- Work closely with email ops to ensure that sponsored emails/ eblasts are entered in Quickbase, tested, and scheduled for deployment
- Maintain relationships with clients by serving as the main point of contact for questions, asset collection, monthly metric reports, and more
- Provide weekly and monthly campaign status updates and report to sales reps for all products-print, digital, and custom
- Forecast available inventory for digital placements
- Manage brand partnerships/barters
- Identify any areas for upselling with current campaigns
- Resolve any issues that may arise with digital campaigns
- Support BMG events, if necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and has superb follow-through—completing tasks efficiently and on deadline
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Ability and interest in project management
- Deep knowledge of MS Excel required
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-3 years of experience

- The salary range for this position is $45,000- $50,000. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, skill level, functional and/or industry knowledge, education level, certifications, as well as other qualifications.
