What You’ll Do:
The Associate Director of Conversion Optimization is responsible for driving the success of Publicis clients' Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and content marketing programs as well as scaling the performance content COE vision. The CO Director is accountable for the implementation of conversion rate testing and CRO solutions across Publicis media agencies to ensure seamless delivery of best practice and processes. You’ll support thought leadership on landing page testing and user experience consulting; building strong relationships with the agencies; partners and internal staff members; and uses problem-solving capabilities to ensure flawless program execution to meet and exceed stated objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess an eye for detail, a mind for creativity and the ability to drive processes for Publicis agencies and clients. Success will depend on the ability to enthusiastically support our agencies in developing the following:
CRO strategy, execution, reporting and analysis
A zest for A/B testing and User Experience (UX)
Account management – from planning to delivery and continued growth
Successful collaboration with internal resources (including design, analytics and cross-channel teams)
Making team members, internal clients and external clients smile big and often
Role Objectives:
Practice Development
Support the development and documentation of testing and UX best practices for improving CRO
Identification of new developments and trends in the marketplace around UX and A/B testing
Serve as the supporting contact for all items related to testing for Publicis CRO engagements
Collaborate and interface with the Publicis account teams to drive strategic program plans
Coordinate CRO opportunity efforts including landing page optimization, web site testing and other optimization tactics to improve performance across digital media campaigns
Interfaces with other department leads to share ideas, communicate service offerings, and to identify and deliver new solutions for clients
Monitors and reports program status across Publicis agencies to management
Understands organic search optimization best practices and articulates knowledge and client deliverables effectively
Guides the development of CRO solutions and teams within each Publicis media agency
Effectively creates and delivers client presentations
Provides thought leadership in UX testing and Conversion design
Commands data analysis of key metrics to identify, recommend and implement changes for increasing the performance of client programs
Develops learning and development content for best-in-class A/B testing and UX strategies
Team Leadership & Development
Embraces and encourages a culture based on team work, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity
Motivates, leads, and manages internal teams, working collaboratively to help agency performance content teams drive programs that meet our clients’ performance and business objectives
Drives adoption of stated account management best practices through example setting, positive reinforcement and behavioral correction
Assists in interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, developing, and evaluating team members
Conducts performance reviews and career path plans for direct reports
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred
5-7 years of account management experience in content optimization, SEO, UX and/or conversion rate optimization
Expert in A/B testing and conversion path optimization
Experience with testing platforms like: Optimizely, VWO, ion, Target, Unbounce, etc.
Experience with a web analytics platform such as Omniture, Google Analytics, or Coremetrics
Experience with optimization techniques for eCommerce sites a plus
Expert in online analytics metrics and related statistical concepts
Exposure to website development/design processes including development of wireframes, preferred
Technical knowledge and aptitude for website architectural design, HTML, CSS and XML
Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills
Additional Information
Compensation Range: $91,000 -$144,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
