The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

Associate Director, Governance and Employee Communications

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops governance for enterprise employee communications channels including enterprise employee intranet, enterprise social collaboration tool and enterprise process for translating communications materials.
  • Develops guidance for each of the enterprise employee communications channels so Corporate and BU Communications team members know what channel to use for certain messages.
  • Develops standard work, process maps and other supporting material to help employee communications teams at Corporate and the Business Units implement governance of the enterprise employee communications channels.
  • Partners with the Corporate Communication research and analytics lead to create a metrics and employee listening program to evaluate the success of enterprise employee communications at Raytheon Technologies and also identify areas for improvement.
  • Serves as single point of contact for the Enterprise Services (ES) Communications and Digital Technology Teams. Responsible for evaluating ES’s selection of employee communications tools, change communications plans and enterprise messaging prior to bringing to Corporate and Business Unit Employee Communications teams for their evaluation and input.
  • Creates change communications plans to educate enterprise employees about new enterprise employee communications tools including the enterprise employee intranet and new social collaboration tool.
  • Leads enterprise employee communications for COVID and other business-critical messaging that must be shared with enterprise employees.
  • Participates in the weekly Raytheon Technologies Employee Communications Council meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University degree or a minimum of 12 years relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior project management skills.
  • Experience with change management and change communications.
  • Advanced written and verbal communications skills, including message simplification.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, client consultation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to successfully build trust and respect across cross-functional teams.
  • Critical thinking and an ability to understand complex business issues to distill messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated success of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate a cross-functional team to achieve goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time and resources, organize, and prioritize work across multiple projects, be detail orientated and work within tight deadlines.
  • Proven agility and adaptability to changes in direction in a fast-paced working environment, including ability to flex to support priority initiatives as needed.
