About This Role `

The Associate Director, Government Pricing will be relied upon as a subject matter expert who is critical to supporting Biogen’s continued participation in and compliance with important US government programs, including Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, and the Federal Supply Schedule. The role will will manage the day-to-day operations and responsibilities of the Government Pricing team, including: coordinating work effort across team members and ensuring quality and accuracy of work product; identifying and implementing process improvements; maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation; coordinating with internal and external auditors to demonstrate compliance; providing training and mentorship to members of the Government Pricing team; and supporting critical business decision processes by developing relevant analytics and helping to communicate insights to key internal stakeholders. The role reports to the Director, Government Pricing & Strategy, within the Market Access & Reimbursement organization.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the monthly and quarterly work product (government pricing calculations and filings) of the Government Pricing team
• Oversee Biogen’s Federal Supply Schedule contract and associated compliance responsibilities, including the annual FCP and FSS pricing public law exercise and the coordination of Biogen’s annual SAM.gov recertification process
• Maintain and update all Government Pricing documentation, including policy and procedure documents; work instructions; and Model N Flex functional design and change control documents
• Build and enhance Government Pricing scenario-based modeling tools to better support Contracts & Pricing and broader business decisions
• Provide leadership and mentoring to Government Pricing team members
• Monitor policy developments and statutory/regulatory updates to assess potential impacts and ensure ongoing compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams addressing key operational, system, and strategic challenges

• 
  Bachelor’s degree required
• 7 – 10 years of experience in Biopharmaceutical industry including Government Pricing experience/responsibilities
• Advanced financial and/or analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy
• Willingness to learn and navigate through a complex field
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with full MS Office suite
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, time management, and organization
• Keen problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to “think on your feet” and suggest alternatives and solutions
