The Morehouse School of Medicine Graduate Medical Education (GME) Department is seeking a GME Assistant Director of Finance to provide leadership and management of the fiscal, financial, and budgetary operations of GME Office

The GME Assistant Director of Finance reports directly to the Associate and Assistant Deans for Graduate Medical Education and indirectly reports to Academic Financial Services.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, healthcare administration or related field required
Experience: A minimum of five years financial management experience required
Demonstrated knowledge of fiscal policies and procedures, financial systems, and experience with data analytical tools required
Experience/training in generally accepted accounting practices and project management required
Excellent and demonstrated oral and written communication skills are required
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in finance, business or accounting preferred
Experience: Experience in higher education, healthcare, or clinical operations is preferred
Experience: Experience in higher education, healthcare, or clinical operations is preferred
Demonstrated knowledge in Graduate Medical Education funding and finance processes is preferred
Active membership in a recognized professional finance association(s) preferred
