Job Description


The Media Analyst serves a critical function on the Marketing Investment Team. The Analyst will support the needs of the Investment, Entertainment & Consulting (IEC) team regarding analysis and reporting of media investment performance, recommendations on how to optimize investments across National and Market level media, and ongoing support for media planning and buying operations.

The Media Analyst supports media operations required to facilitate the stewardship of Chick-fil-A’s marketing investment. Accuracy, timeliness, and speed are critical, as is the ability to work cross functionally internally and externally. The candidate will be comfortable engaging regularly with our media agency to ensure processes are flowing smoothly and deadlines are met. Should issues arise, the Media Analyst should be proactive in elevating to the Marketing Investment Lead or Marketing Consultant.

  • Marketing Consultants to empower them with resources and tools to consult to Operators in respective their Areas
  • Media agencies to curate data, develop insights and real time optimizations.
  • CMI to analyze areas of opportunities
  • IHA to produce creative assets for market level media such as promo radio

Tasks for the media analyst:

  • Consolidate media reports for stakeholders
  • Send media reports to all stakeholders
  • Funnel questions to the right agency members from Stakeholders
  • Identify trends for optimization opportunities and overall campaign performance
  • Organize all media data for QBR


Qualifications


  • B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in media planning/strategy/investment or media analytics
  • Agency experience highly preferred
  • Ideally located in Chicago or Atlanta
