SUMMARY
Hulu’s Marketing team is seeking an Associate Manager, Experiential and Events reporting into the Team Lead, Experiential and Events. This individual will be an exceptional addition to our Brand team and help support the plans for how Hulu shows up in the world as a standalone brand and as part of The Walt Disney Company , and appears at cultural moments, consumer and industry-facing events and more. This individual will help support event and experiential marketing efforts that drive earned media and ultimately brand consideration and preference for Hulu along with helping set up and manage campaigns that elevate and significantly innovate the Hulu brand. This individual should have some experience managing events and/or activations both IRL and virtual for a direct-to-consumer content brand. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support and deliver high-velocity B2B and B2C events and activations that support Hulu brand growth
- Develop & manage budgets, RFPs, and vendor quotes
- Identify appropriate agency partners per project and own communications and feedback
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders by managing project timelines for creative assets and pod/executive approvals
- Assist maintaining project timelines for external partners, agencies/vendors
- Event execution support, including but not limited to: run of show, on-site logistics, F&B, A/V, signage, and oversight of agency and on the ground vendors
- Provide post-project summary reporting, including key takeaways, leanings, metrics, KPIs
- Facilitate contract routing (MSA, SOW, NDA, etc.) & manage payments (create requisitions/POs, process & track invoices, etc.)
- Research and recommend new event activations, ideas, and vendors
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with organizations, agencies, talent and vendors
- Travel to be on site at events as needed
WHAT TO BRING
- 2+ years experience in event related role.
- Extremely detail-oriented and extraordinary organizational skills.
- Experience with full-spectrum events - brief to execution.
- Analytical and creative mindset.
- Works gracefully under pressure and deadline driven—must be able to handle multiple projects at once.
- Positive, 'can do' attitude; no job is too big or too small.
- Self-starter, solutions oriented with good instincts.
- Ability to build strong internal relationships and leverage cross-department resources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively relay important information to internal and external partners
- Some travel required.
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Experience with SAP, MS PowerPoint/Google Slides and Photoshop are a plus
- Entertainment, agency, and/or brand experience
- Solid understanding of the evolving event landscape
