We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who will be responsible for implementing the complete presentation layer of global enterprise websites. You will be working on projects across global brands enjoyed by millions of visitors worldwide.


This position will have responsibility to:


  • Develop new user-facing interface and features
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Responsibilities will include creation of the UI/UX wireframes and layouts
  • Implementing actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
  • Bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
  • Provide input into estimating engagement activities and execute engagements following the Agile methodology including SCRUM
  • Liaise with Marketing and IT teams to deliver global solutions
  • Implement code that is CMS-friendly and locale-agnostic


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
  • At least 1 year of proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
  • Basic understanding of Bootstrap, Foundation or other CSS frameworks
  • Good understanding Content Management Systems
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • At least 1 year of proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and SVN


Preferred Experience:


  • 1 year experience with Adobe Experience Manager and or Drupal, WordPress
  • 1 year experience with Agile development
  • 1 year experience with JIRA
  • 1 year experience with JAVA, JCR


Salary Range $68,880 - $113,400 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
