This position will be employed through Headway consulting firm working remotely throughout the US, excluding Colorado.
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Schedule: 15-30 hours/week
Length: ongoing
The Contract Associate Labs Media Editor will plan, review, and manage preparation of ancillary elements and media content in the chemistry labs domain that delivers competitive advantage. Instructors and students use these resources to enrich the learning experience and ease the teaching process. Contract media editors will work closely with the custom media team, and the successful candidate will need to communicate clearly and collaboratively with other project stakeholders about status, issues, scheduling, and budget.
The Contract Associate Labs Media Editor will be tasked with:

• reviewing and selecting digital assets for digital lab programs
• assist in editing and authoring digital lab materials, as needed
• tracking the status of digital assets in tracking sheets
• creating JIRA tickets to request art for digital assets
• helping maintain and update data in key editorial systems
• assisting with miscellaneous editorial tasks, as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Biology or a related area;
• Exhibits excellent and varied oral and written communication styles for different audiences;
• Able to work effectively with stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders;
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a course or lab instructor in Introductory Biology
