Title/Position: Associate Project Manager

Department or Business Unit: Implementation, Practice Integration
Reporting Structure: Director, Implementation

Employment Type: FTE

Exemption Status: Exempt

Travel Required: Yes, 70%

Overview of the Role:

The Associate Project Manager is a key member of the Implementation and Practice Integration team. This role manages key projects and large integrations nationally for existing markets and new markets. The Associate Project Manager is the project leader, primary point of contact, and accountable team member for the success of his/her assigned portfolio of projects.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Project manage the launch of large integrations in existing markets

  • Project manage other key national strategic projects

  • Assist with the project management of the launch of new markets for Privia Health

  • Manage stakeholder communication through regular meetings, status updates, and other written communications

  • Serve as key team member in ensuring appropriate escalation of issues to internal teams and leadership

  • Serve as subject matter expert and lead for the implementation of our electronic medical record and practice management platform and workflows

  • Lead and coordinate activity between the practice and internal teams, including Finance, IT, Billing, Product, RCM, Value Based Care, Market, Communications, and Credentialing teams

  • Create and manage detailed project plans and communicate status to the client and Privia management team

  • Create project scope, budget, and other materials as needed

  • Manage concurrent projects

  • Manage change and expectations effectively and independently internally and with new partnerships of Privia Health

  • Establish timelines and confront critical-path items and deadlines

  • Willingness to travel to partners in existing and new markets


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 2-4 years experience managing complex technical projects in a healthcare setting

  • Technical experience with practice management and EHR systems required

  • Experience in hospital or physician office setting including knowledge of physician office workflow and processes

  • Experience with project management tools

  • Knowledgeable about extended medical terminology

  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
