Ocean Spray is looking for an Associate Shopper Marketing Manager to add to our team!
Position location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA or our Seaport Boston, MA location with Mondays & Fridays remote.
Strategic Leadership
  • Work with Customer teams to identify and help develop profitable and incremental customer growth opportunities. Scope of work includes development of new item launch plans, customer/regional BDI opportunity mapping and recommendations, customer specific initiatives.
  • Work with Senior Manager, Omnichannel to lead shopper plans aligned with assigned Business /unit, channels and brand priorities.
  • Connect with Retailers (JBP) Marketing departments to understand priorities and link our calendars and activations with theirs.
  • Support development and execution of annual planning process across customers and channels.
Execution Leadership
  • Work with Agencies for strategic, creative and efficient output
  • Monitor and track competitive activity; proactively identify implications for business performance and develop contingency plans to address opportunities and shortfalls.
  • Track Sales & Marketing Base & Incremental Performance
  • Program post analysis and identification of best practices for future implementation
  • Lead or provide support for key channel (Grocery, Drug, and Value) & customer initiatives.
    • Priority Retailers
    • Retail Partnership/Sponsorship executions
    • Budget planning and system management
    • Invoice Processing for customer specific initiatives
    • Coupon Creation
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Ideal candidate will have 3 years of customer marketing/brand marketing/shopper marketing
  • Working knowledge of syndicated data (IRI) and understand aspects of category management
  • Successful candidate will have strong analytical, communication and consumer marketing skills.
  • Passion and familiarity with both digital and instore tactics for building 360 degree holistic National and retailer specific plans.
  • Must be able to successfully interact with other peers and managers within the marketing, sales, finance, operations and legal groups.
  • Able to be an effective advocate for all brand/business/customer issues across the enterprise.
