Custom Computer Specialists is looking for an Associate Systems Engineer to join our team! This position will be located in Newport Rhode Island.

OVERVIEW

This person a has a broad range of duties which include: technical project lead, systems administration, phone and desk-side support, ad-hoc reporting, technology/tool/solution research and analysis, level I, II, III and VIP support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide hands-on and/or telephone technical support to client end users
• Provide resolution and assistance to Windows X, networking, server and collaboration related problems
• Network access troubleshooting and repair. Some administration of network devices
• Hardware and software support
• Diagnosis and removal of malware (viruses, spyware, etc
• WebEx Configuration and testing
• Collaboration support
• Active Directory maintenance and administration
• Install and repair faulty or damaged operating system software
• Project related roles including; initiation, planning, management and execution/documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

• A+ certification (preferred)
• MCSA (preferrred)
• Dell and/or HP certified (a plus)
• CCNA (preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled with organization, decision making and time management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
