Hampden-Sydney College has immediate openings for an Athletic Fields Manager. Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Director of Athletics, the Athletics Field Manager is responsible for supporting the Colleges mission by coordinating, supervising and participating in maintenance of all campus athletic and intramural fields, including immediate vicinities. Operates and oversees general maintenance and care of all heavy equipment used in the maintenance of these fields. Performs campus wide general grounds maintenance tasks of a standardized nature involving the operation of motorized equipment and a variety of hand tools. Ensures the appearance of all campus grounds is maintained in a clean and neat manner.Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate or BS degree in turf management preferred. Registered Technician License for Turf within 6 months of start date. Commercial Turf Applicator License preferred. 3-5 years experience in athletic turf maintenance or similar field preferred.
