Job Description Summary :
The Supervisor, Audio Investment, is responsible for total media investment and activation of all audio campaigns (traditional + digital) across various accounts. They supervise the Senior Audio Investment Buyer, Audio Investment Buyer, and Audio Investment Associate. Communication, multi-tasking, attention to detail/accuracy, strong leadership and mentoring team members are crucial competencies to being successful in this position.
Job Description :
  • Oversees the negotiation and execution of audio campaigns both traditional and digital across various accounts within general and Hispanic markets.
  • Ensures the team is creating optimum buys, negotiate appropriate added value, make-goods/credits and delivering post buy analysis.
  • Has a firm grasp and knowledge of the audio marketplace, as well as all research & billing tools
  • Meet with media reps to deepen knowledge on new offerings/trends affecting media buying
  • Manage the analysis of research for potential and existing audio campaigns. Offer additional insights from the research to aid in client/planning/sales discussions and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with internal team, clients, planners and sales reps, overseeing various planning and buying requests/campaigns
  • Supervise all stages of campaigns to guarantee that they run smoothly, ensuring campaigns are well-managed and organized
  • Oversee monthly/quarterly client financial reporting
  • Provide new and profitable ideas to grow client’s business
  • Look to improve team process/structure/communication
  • Create and present client buy recommendations to emphasize key takeaways and negotiation successes
  • Develop in-depth client POV’s
  • Mentor and support team members
  • Conduct client meetings and keep in contact with them at all stages of the campaign
  • Establish, nurture and maintain good relationships with clients
  • Help with new business pitches
  • Create marketplace landscape presentations
  • Quality control of all work that is submitted to clients
  • Monitor work performance, support career development and execute performance reviews
  • Keeping up to date on industry and consumer information
  • Is always in the know of new media or new methods of using existing media; informing the team
  • Demonstrates confidence and provides an energy level to bring positivity to the team
  • MULTI-TASKER/ STRUCTURED: Ability to work across multiple clients, various planning teams, creative teams, traffic teams, etc. Constantly communicating internally to keep teams informed. Extremely detail, task oriented and organized. Manages internal and external timelines and deliverables. Prioritizing all of this so task are delivered on time. Understanding that each day will bring new challenges and require the ability to pivot in real time and stay calm under pressure.
  • PERSONABLE/TEAM PLAYER: Strong ‘people skills. Ability to establish and build strong interpersonal relationships between: agency – client, all intra-agency teams, outside agency partners, third party vendors, etc. Ability to work well within a team setting. Demonstrate willingness to help the team and professionalism with everyone you work with.
  • ADEPT/DETAILED: Possess a solid understanding of the media landscape and company functionality – Be able to think holistically and recognize how each piece works together to see the full picture. Result driven & problem solver who balances asking questions with working independently to try to provide a solution for the team/client. Embraces new technology platforms and can easily adapt. Curious about 'what is next' and desire to learn.
  • COMMUNICATION: Being able to articulate both verbally and in writing. Keeping everyone on your team in the loop on projects, buys, etc. Exhibits strong communication skills with clients, sales reps and planning teams - tailoring the communication as necessary
  • TACTICAL: Ability to work with numbers and formulas, as well as check your work.
  • Being positive, driven and dedicated. Taking initiative and being proactive
  • Strong excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced technology-oriented environment
  • Demonstrate ability to perform analytic problem solving, synthesizing data to identify themes
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills, validated by research and data
  • Ability to make recommendation to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgement that is consistent with Agency standards, practices, policies, procedures or regulations
  • Must possess a solid understanding of the agency functions and internal capabilities
