Job description (feel free to attach) – As the Technology Support and Operation Specialist, you contribute operations information and support A/V and digital need of the internal team; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; identify trends and advance the digital studios and virtual training delivery tools. Perform logistical duties of shipping assets to customers and team.
this position does not have to be an IT guru just a basic IT knowledge and a bonus if they have some A/V experience. We intend on this position to handle mainly logistics of testing equipment to see if it works and shipping it out, helping set up A/V equipment in some of the studios, and helping the teams troubleshoot issues if possible. If they cannot resolve the issue we have a larger IT department in corporate that can assist.
Essential Responsibilities
- Ship, configure, troubleshoot, and verify connectivity of Digital Expert products.
- Act as the initial and main point of contact for A/V support for Virtual team.
- Manage and update Virtual team’s A/V and product assets.
- Maintain appropriate SOP/guides for AV equipment and production software.
- Partner with eCAS and CEPL in developing and piloting new tools for product assimilation.
- Support internal training events/conferences with A/V support.
- Identify and troubleshoot team member A/V issues to find innovative solutions.
- Act as liaison to distribute A/V and technical updates to cross functional teams and other segments.
- Occasional travel required for A/V support of Virtual Team.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Self-management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with networking in information technology
- Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting expertise of A/V equipment and production hardware and software.
- Excellent proactive communication skills.
- Ability to develop, set, and execute priorities and approaches to meet objectives.
- Experience with production and multi-media tools.
Qualifications/Requirements
- BS/BA or Technical degree in AV support or equivalent or 3 years of experience in related field
- Comfortable interacting and presenting in the virtual environment
- Driven by advancements in the role of technology to promote new methods of remote sessions
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills from a remote environment
- Interpersonal and telephone communications skills with exceptional professional disposition and demeanor
