QUALIFICATIONS:


1. High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
2. Minimum of 3 years technical A/V experience preferred.
3. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
4. Ability to work flexible hours.

7. Ability to demonstrate a high degree of customer service skills and professionalism.

REPORTS TO: Audio-Visual Support Coordinator


SUPERVISES: None


JOB GOAL: To assist with the coordination and support of district level audio-visual meetings, events, and presentations.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


1. Audio/Video (A/V) support, which includes assisting and training end-users on the proper use of A/V equipment and new corporate hardware and software applications.
2. Assist and support the set-up, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of conference room A/V equipment such as microphones, speakers, video displays, projectors, digital video cameras, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards.
3. Assist with the Help Desk ticket queue, troubleshooting, and communicating with stakeholders as appropriate.
4. Assist with and attend high-level meetings requiring A/V.
5. Proactively maintain A/V equipment, assist with the annual inventory, and logging new, damaged, and decommissioned data in district asset tracking system.
6. Document technical system processes and procedures and get actively involved in promoting new technologies or new systems or procedures.
7. Takes direct, appropriate and timely action to meet client needs and resolve basic issues.
8. Assists with planning meetings, agendas, documenting progress, and providing
follow up assistance to all stakeholders.
9. Performs other tasks and responsibilities required by supervisor.


MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:


1. Operate a variety of mechanical and transportation equipment
2. May occasionally need to arrange for rental of equipment for special needs.
3. Must be willing to engage in ongoing professional development.
4. Other duties as assigned by the Audio-Visual Support Coordinator.


TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full year. Salary to be established by the Board.


EVALUATION: Performance is evaluated per the District’s Performance
Evaluation and Compensation Plan for the School and District
Leaders.


PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:


Physical Demands:
Sitting at a desk for short periods.
Bending, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping.
Light lifting up to seventy-five (75) pounds.


Sensory Abilities:
Visual acuity to read correspondence and computer screens.
Auditory acuity to be able to use telephones. Ability to
speak clearly and distinctly.


Temperament:
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Must be courteous and able to deal effectively with people.
Must be cooperative, friendly, and service-oriented.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Ability to be flexible.


Mental Demands:
Ability to interpret detailed written and verbal communications. Ability to
function in a fast-paced and high-pressure work setting.


Environment:
Varies, including extensive work both in and out of doors Movement out of
office to other buildings with ability to access all buildings.
