· Diagnose and repair vehicles prior to sale. We are a full automotive repair facility and general knowledge of the following are required. Test electronic computer components in automobiles to ensure proper operation. Troubleshoot fuel, ignition, and emissions control systems, using electronic testing equipment. Inspect and test new vehicles for damage and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made. Install or repair air conditioners and service components, such as compressors, condensers, and controls. Change out transmissions/engines in many different types of vehicles.
· Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
· Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
· Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
· Maintain an organized and neat bay.
· Adhere to all company policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules.
